If you want to run your WordPress page on a server with an outdated software environment, please consider the dangers and security risks. Old PHP versions are vulnerable and will not be further developed. Plugins are often developed on the latest PHP versions and may not run properly or at all on older PHP versions.
Hosting is safer if PHP applications such as WordPress are run with the username of your account and not with the server's default common username. Ask your potential host what steps they are taking to ensure the security of your account.
