Here we explain the structure of a website and how you can adapt individual elements. The homepage construction kit displays the website in rows and columns. This is important so that the page can adapt to the different screen sizes. So two columns can be displayed on top of each other in the mobile view.
You can move rows by clicking on the "Menu" at the top left of the row and then clicking the up or down arrow to move the row up or down. To add a new row, click on "Add row".
To change the height of a row, move the cursor to the bottom edge of the row and wait until a blue bar appears. You can now change the height by clicking and holding down the mouse button.
A newly added row always has one column. To add more columns, go back to the row menu and click on "Add column". You can add up to four columns per row. Click between two columns and move the mouse to change the width of the columns. To delete a column, click on the red X at the top right. However, you can only delete a column if there is no element in it. If there are still elements in the column, you can drag them to other columns or to another position using drag-n-drop.
To edit an element, click on it with the left mouse button. Here you can edit the contents and design of the element. Right-clicking on an element gives us additional options, such as: copy, start animations or a device-dependent fade-out. All changes we make here are local changes that only affect this element. Rows and columns also have different design options. Just open the Rows menu and click "Change Design".
