In this manual you will learn how to prepare a provider change from Strato to checkdomain.
Sign in to your Strato customer area.
Now click on "My contract" in the upper menu and select "Contract amendment".
Then select "Termination and cancellation" from the menu on the left.
In the termination overview that now appears, click on „Cancel“ for the domain that you want to transfer to us.
In the next step, select a reason for cancellation in the pull-down menu and click on the "Next" button on the right.
Next, select "Change provider" as the follow-up process and click on the "Next" button.
Confirm your selection in the text field with your customer login password and click on "Complete withdrawal".
After you have received the authcode, you can start the transfer of the domain via the order process on www.checkdomain.net/en .
Important: For some domain extensions, such as .com/.net/.org or most nTLDs, an additional confirmation of the transfer is required.
in a so-called FOA e-mail, which is sent to the domain holder / admin-c.
