FileZilla is a modern and powerful FTP program.
Some of the main features are for example:
Recovery of aborted uploads/downloads, firewall support,
SSL (Secure Connections), Drag & Drop.
In this guide, you will learn how to install FileZilla.
First, download FileZilla from the vendor's website.
Start the installation by double-clicking on the file.
You see the following display
Click "I Agree".
You will now be taken to the following screen:
You can now choose whether the program is to be used by all users of your PC´s is available or only for you. After your selection click on "Next".
Now you are asked which components of the program are installed and whether a desktop icon should be created.
After your selection click on "Next" to continue the installation.
You will be asked where you want to install the program. Please select you select the directory in which you have installed your programs. This is mostly "C:\Programs\FileZilla FTP Client".
After entering the desired directory click on "Next".
You will be asked if you want to create a folder in your Start menu.
By default, leave the settings as they are and click on "Install".
The installation program will now install the FTP program.
After the installation the program starts automatically.
