If you own your own nameservers like e.g. ns.yourdomain.de you will learn in this manual, how you can register them.
For some domain extensions, additional entries are necessary, which means that no name server entry is required can be set in the customer area, please contact support in this case.
On our homepage at www.checkdomain.net, click on My Login at the top right and select "Customer Area" to log in.

You will reach the login form by entering your customer number or e-mail address and your customer password and then clicking on the "Login" button.
You are now in your customer area. In the left navigation click on the navigation point "Domains".
In the domain overview, select the domain for which you want to change the IP address. Click on "Configuration" for the desired domain.
On the detail page of the desired domain, click on "checkdomain Nameserver".
You will now see the following input mask.
Set the pulldown menu to "Use your own name server".
Then replace our name servers in the text fields with your own name servers.
Confirm your entries by clicking on the "Save" button.
The administration of the name servers is done on your own responsibility.
The new name servers are saved immediately. Until the change of the name servers is effective, it can take about 2 - 6 hours.
