The purpose of the transit letter is to ensure that the domain will continue to be administered by a provider designated by the domain holder in the future.
Here you can find out how you can transfer your domain to checkdomain.de after receiving such a letter.
If you have received a letter from DENIC (the registry for .de domains) containing a so-called TRANSIT password, please log on to http://transit.denic.de to release the domain for a Provider Change.
The data can be found in the Denic letter under the following section:
You will then receive the corresponding authcode and can use it to transfer the data to checkdomain.de at https://www.checkdomain.net/en/domains/ .
Important: The TRANSIT code is NOT the authcode for transferring the domain.
