Learn how to setup a mailbox with an email-adress in your customer area.
Login to your customer area and click "E-mails" in the left navigation bar.
If you have more than one domain, select the domain in the pulldown-menu for which you want to setup a mailbox.
To setup a new mailbox, click "Create new mailbox".
Now the form to setup / edit a new e-mail-adress and/or an e-mail-forwarding. First enter a new password amd confirm the password by typing it again in the confirmation field.
Under disk space limit you can specify how much space will be used for the mailbox.
Enter your desired e-mail-adress here. As example "max" for firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you want to use more e-mail-adresses in this mailbox, click on "Add another E-mail adress".
Important: Use "Add another E-mail adress" only, if the e-mail-adresses should be retrieved by the same person. For different individuals, a new mailbox has to be created, so seperate access data be setup (repeat steps 3 - 6).
By clicking on the "Delete" Button, you can delete an already been created and no longer needed e-mail-adress at any time.
Enter the mailadress your mailbox should be forwarded (e.g. email@example.com).
Note: Use the hook, to store a copy in the mailbox, to archive the mails at the same time.
When you activate the autoresponder an specify a corresponding text, anyone who send you an e-mail recieves an automatic message. You can use this for example, if your on vacation want to inform your friends, customers or business-partners automatically about this.
Set the Hook by "Copy E-Mail text:", to add the original E-Mail underneath the automatic response.
Confirm you entries by click on the button "Save".
