If you want to delete single tables in your database, because you don't need them anymore, you will learn in this manual how to do this.
First log in to phpMyAdmin.
The following screen appears:
Click here on the button "Databases".

Now you see this screen:
Select in the menu the database you want to edit.
The following screen appears:
Here you set a hook with all tables which you want to delete and select in the lower pulldown menu "delete".
Tables from Joomla usually start with jo_... Tables of Wordpress as in our example with wp_...
