If you have forgotten your password for your website statistics, you can assign a new password in your customer area at any time.
Note: The standard access data for the statistics area is your FTP access data, which you received from us by e-mail after ordering the web hosting package.
In this manual you will learn how to assign a new password for your statistics area.
On our home page at www.checkdomain.net, click on My Login at the top right and select "Customer Area" to log in.
You will reach the login form by entering your customer number or e-mail address and your customer password and then clicking on the "Login" button.
You are now in your customer area. In the left navigation click on the navigation point "Hosting".
In the following menu, click on the "Directory protection" button.
You will see the following screen. Click on "Edit" in the /htdocs/stats directory.
Optional step
In the following screen, you can create an additional user who should also have access to the statistics. Click on the "Create new user" button to do this.
Now enter a user name and a password for the additional user with whom the user is to log in.
After entering the data, click on the "Save" button.
In the lower area you can assign a new password for the current user. Click on the "Edit" button in the right-hand area.
Now enter the new password you want in the text fields and confirm it in the text field below.
After entering the data, click on the "Save" button.
You can now log in to the web statistics area with your username and new password.
