With this guide you can set up your emails in Windows Mobile Professional and then retrieve it.
Select the "E-Mail Logo" in the lower menu.
Now click on "Menu" in the lower right corner to start the installation.
Now select a "New Account".
Select "More" here.
Enter your e-mail address or the one that is to be displayed to the recipient and your personal password.
Then go on to "Manual setup".
In the following field, enter the name to be displayed to the recipient (e.g. private name or company name) and enter any name for "Display name for account".
Confirm the entries with "Next".
Here your personal data must be indicated, which are already described in the 4th step. The user name can be found in your customer area below the "e-mail mailbox".
If you have problems sending e-mails, you must specify port 587 on the outgoing server.
Enter this in the following format: mail.mustermann:587
POP3 or IMAP can be selected as the account type.
Replace all fields with the information about your e-mail box.
You can also find this in your customer login under "E-mails -> Server information".
In the next field the same server must be entered that you have already used in step 6. Then the two check marks must be set for "Outgoing server requires authentication" and "Use the same user name and password for sending mail".
Tap on "Next" to go to the last step.
The information is specific. Here you can decide whether the e-mails should be received e.g. every 2 hours. Otherwise you can complete the setup with a click on "Done".
Your mail system is now configured under Windows Mobile.
Send an email
